Working Alongside Our Child Care Providers

We celebrated National Child & Adult Care Food Program Week March 13^th -19^th. Our Child Care Food Program (CACFP) assists Providers with nutrition resources and food costs. Providers who participate in the Child Care Food Program are committed to the health and well-being of the children in their care. FRRC sponsors the CACFP in 13 counties across California.

Children that are cared for by Providers participating in the CACFP benefit by being fed nutritious USDA regulated meals that ensure their proper development. We honored our Providers during this week by sharing resources from the National CACFP website, sharing pictures of their nutritious meals, and raffling a basket valued at $100.00 to those who completed a USDA professional development webinar.
