Working Alongside Our Child Care Providers

As a Child Care Provider, you are a key member of the child’s caregiving team. Family Resource & Referral Center offers free Trauma Informed Care workshops to help you understand the effects of childhood trauma, and how you can help a child manage their survival responses, and increase a child’s feeling of connection and safety. After completing the Trauma Informed Care workshops you will be able to help the child more effectively manage survival-in-the-moment responses when faced with a trauma reminder and be able to create an environment that reduces trauma reminders and increases feelings of connection and safety whenever possible.
