Do you need help accessing Denti-Cal services for your child? Let our SJ TEETH Care Coordinators help identify a dental home, secure a dental appointment, and support you with attendance barriers. Our Care Coordinators, Cynthia and Edgar, are helping families save time and making it less intimidating for children in our community to go to the dentist.

Parent pro tip-Make tooth brushing fun with these activities:

• Brush your child’s teeth and have your child brush your teeth
• Make it a game:
• Time them with a stopwatch & tell them to start slow then race as the two minute time is over
• Try different patterns-have them brush in zigzags, and then brush in tiny circles and then try brushing their tongue
• Tell them to switch hands and see how fast they can go
• Reward your child with fun activity like reading a book, singing, coloring
