Have you ever heard the phrase, “Children don’t come with instruction manuals?” Did you know that there are tools out there to help you navigate the challenging moments of parenthood? Parents by Choice is a local nonprofit organization that provides all San Joaquin County parents with free parenting classes year-round. Their Positive Parenting Program (also known as Triple P), is helping bring hope and healing to children, youth, and their families by offering classes for parents of children 0-12, preteens, and teenagers absolutely free!

Through Triple P, Parents by Choice offers parenting groups designed to reduce stress and improve the atmosphere of your home. Triple P doesn’t tell adults how to parent. Rather, it introduces simple and practical strategies parents can adopt to suit their own values, beliefs and needs. In this program, you will learn skills and techniques that you can put into practice right away!
