Parent Success Story

As a new parent, there are so many decisions to be made. Finding quality, affordable Child Care is a big decision, but help is available through Family Resource Child Care Assistance Program. A Mom we recently spoke to had this advice to give to new Moms:

Don’t be afraid to reach out and see what assistance programs there are to help you because if it wasn’t for this program… I’ve advanced so much in my career over the year, and if it wasn’t due to Family Resource, I don’t know where I would be. There’s some mothers out there like, “Oh, I won’t ask for help.” Just don’t be afraid to ask for help, no matter what situation you’re in. We all come from different walks of life, so it’s OK to reach out and say, “Hey, I might need help with subsidized childcare,” or something of that nature. Because if you truly take advantage of the program, it can really help you with your future.
