FRRC Celebrated CACFP Week!

National Child & Adult Care Food Program Week: March 14-20, 2021

FRRC honored and thanked the 835 participating CACFP Child Care Providers, virtually, for their commitment to the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program and to the health and well-being of the children in their care.

Children that are cared for by providers participating in the CACFP benefit by being fed nutritious USDA regulated meals that ensure their proper development. Children gain from early nutrition education that helps them establish positive eating habits that will enrich the quality of their diet throughout their life. 

FRRC is the sponsor of the CACFP in San Joaquin County and 11 other counties across the state.
