Child Care Food Program (CACFP)

Child Care
Food Program

Assisting your child care business with nutrition resources and food costs.
The Child Care Food Program is designed to encourage nutritious meals and snacks for children in licensed child care homes. Your participation tells parents you care about good nutrition, and that they can be assured that their children are developing lifelong healthy eating habits. As a participating child care provider, you will receive reimbursement on a per meal per child basis; receive cookbooks, sample menus, and nutrition activities for children; and are able to call for assistance at any time.
