2020 Call volume broke all time records for our 211 San Joaquin (211SJ) Call Center, with over 60,000 calls from all over the county-more calls than the last 5 years combined.
With so many looking for vaccine, food, and housing resources, our 211SJ Call Center shattered another record in January 2021, with over 18,000 calls, the most for any single month since we began our service in 2015.
211SJ responded to over 61,000 individual requests for resources in February 2021-almost as many calls we received in all of 2020.
211SJ is all about connection. Our trained Information & Referral Call Specialists have given assurance and provided answers and guidance to callers with questions about vaccine and how to access basic needs during this challenging time. 211 will continue to respond to residents needing assistance navigating community support.
