SJCOE: Visual & Performing Arts (English)

Explore the power of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) as a meaningful way to support young children’s creativity, self-expression, communication, and overall development. This workshop will provide early educators with engaging, hands-on strategies to integrate visual arts, music, movement, drama, and creative experiences into preschool and transitional kindergarten classrooms. Participants will learn how arts-based experiences foster children’s imagination, confidence, social-emotional development, and connections to learning across all developmental domains.Through interactive activities and practical examples, educators will gain tools and resources to create inclusive, developmentally appropriate arts experiences that encourage exploration, collaboration, and joyful learning for all children.
